For reliable, flexible broadband connectivity, we've designed and built our network around two core elements: self-healing ring topology and proven technology.

The combination of electronics and the Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) ring topology provides customers with increased network reliability, security and unsurpassed recovery in the event a network failure should occur .

Our Private Line Services  start at DS3 and extend up to OC48 and 2.5 to 10 Gig wavelengths. We employ Ciena's (formerly Nortel Networks) Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) and OC-192 equipment throughout the network to allow for future scalability and flexibility for intelligent, managed growth. Using these two technologies allows Hydro One Telecom to transmit information at a speed up to 10 Gigabits per second over a single strand of fibre.

Transparent LAN Services and Internet Transit Services use Juniper M & MX series routers.
